I'm sorry, but Eric Idle needs to come off the list, as well as anyone in Monty Python.

They were all so incredibly Uber-Funny that it just evens out over time.

they WERE. WERE.
Have you seen anything funny from him recently?
Uhhhh NOOOOooooo.

I understand his place in the history of comedy but... over time the world changes and the funny people seem to stay the same. They become stale. A one trick pony with a broken leg. He is no longer funny.
It could be that their routines were groundbreaking and the stuff that was once funny is now commonplace. It could be that I am so used to this humor that it is no longer funny.
It could be tha I have lost my sense of humor but I don't think thats the case.

I think they need to get out in the world and see what is truly going on before they try to make fun if it.

Idle seems almost like a pratfalling vaudevillian. No room for this Fred Mertz in this world.

Whoopi is no longer publicly funny. I'm sure shes a cut up at home. (oh not in the ass tonight Eddie!)

Williams is going the route of Bill Cosby.

It's over. The funny stops here.
