I smell trouble

Even in this simple animatic this looks ominous.

After a period of small-scale basic plasma experiments in university laboratories in the 70's and 80's, the Korean fusion programme initiated the Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) project with a substantial investment. Prior to this initiation there had been a test period of relatively large-scale plasma experimental devices compared to the previous one. For example, HANBIT, a tandem mirror machine, was constructed and operated.
The goal of the Korean fusion programme is to contribute to world fusion energy development by providing useful technical information, via KSTAR, to the ITER programme and to join the future foreseen world fusion energy development path such as DEMO and PROTO.

with a capital TROUB!
I fear plasma fusion techniques like a caveman fears the moon.

I went there and it just fed my fear.
