Sounds like Lily was just being a major bitch at first and just drove the director mad, but then again his reaction is ridiculously extreme as well.
Oh well. I just love Dustin Hoffman staying as cool as a cucumber and even giving Lily a hug. TOO FUNNY!
I'm pretty sure O Russel is the bigger freak. Although I do recall having dinner one night at Musso And Franks and watching Lily Tomlin in the next booth send her girfriend to the bathroom in tears because she was being a major bitch to her. So... Tomlin has crazy issues too.
