Music Video Friday

Adam Freeland-Hello I love you

And now something...
odd.
This looks like a scene out of DREAMGIRLS.
Taken from The Motown 25th show is a performance by the non-Motown Adam Ant.
Intoduced by Jose Feleciano Adam Ant makes his appearance much as Eddie Murphy did in his Oscar losing performance. The revolving set piece. Adam Ant proceeds to "do" a song he's not famous for. This is like asking the Stones to do a Beatles tune simply because the Beatles were too expensive. Then if this twisted world isn't cruel enough Ms. Ross appears on stage with him. Why he was at the Motown 25th is beyond me.

Gosh, that first video looks so much like the first time I brought Alejandro home to meet the folks and they freaked. Seeing them make the poor little bugger do household and garden chores is just what they did to my sweetie too. He also liked to play my organ.

Why Adam Ant on Motown 25? Because they thought he was more "normal" than Marc Almond of Soft Cell who was having a dance floor hit with his remake of that tune at the time.
